Brandon Siscoe has been doing home recordings for many years and besides creating dark minimalist music, he does all his own artwork as well. This is one of the releases that is really difficult to describe. The music creates moods and feelings as it floats and flows and ebbs. There is acoustic guitar, some vocals, but it is mostly electronics, drones and misc sounds, etc. Brandon certainly finds that balance between abstract compositions and structured songwriting. I have not heard many things that I can compare this to. Unfortunately, his web site is under construction so you can't hear any samples or see his wonderful artwork yet. Worth seeking out and delving into on one of those strange rainy nights.
