Wow... what a full frontal assault. I have never heard this band before and man are they angry and noisy. This is the bands fourth CD since hitting the scene back in 1991. The production is very raw with screaming hostile distorted vocals (luckily you get the lyrics with the CD if you want to know what he is screaming!). The band certainly succeeds in creating some incredibly heavy stuff. The bass sound is pretty amazing on some of the tracks and the guitars have just a nasty growl. While I don’t normally hear music like this it sure does grab your attention. While the band has toured with Slayer and Entombed, etc they are not that fast in general. If you took all the distortion away you could compare them to High on Fire at times. This is not easy listening but good if you need to get some aggression out!
