SvartePan are a Swedish band that hail from Malmö and play 70’s style classic rock and sing all in Swedish. They have toured extensively in Sweden and have quite an underground following. The bands only other release is a split single with Abramas Bramas, another Swedish band who also sing in Swedish but play a bit harder than SvartePan. If you have ever heard the great Swedish band called November then you should check these guys out. I listened to one of the first November records right after this CD and the similarity is frightening. While the production is a bit more modern the songs and style are convincingly a 70’s rock and roll sound. While I don’t understand Swedish, this is a damn good rocking CD.
