Motorjesus are an old new band. What the hell does he mean? They are a band that decided to change their style of music and therefore the name. The band is all the same guys who used to be called The Shitheadz, but now as the music is going from hardcore metal to more mainstream, they needed a less controversial name it appears?? I never heard the Shitheadz but I am guessing their old fans will be quite shocked (and grossed) at the bands new sound. The singer sounds a lot like James Hetfield meets the singer in Tool (Hellmachine) and the songs, while most are quite heavy and aggressive, they go for these much more melodic choruses and dual melodic chorus like guitar parts….virtually no guitar solos on the CD. I can see a lot of people digging and headbanging to this but it is not really for me.
