Mother and Sun is a new Swedish band and this is their debut 7” released earlier this year. The A side (plays on 33rpm), starts with Time to Vertigo, which reminds me a bit of the Brimstone Solar Radiation band but is a bit more hard hitting but has that 60’s sounding organ that psyches you out and makes you want to bop around the room. Cool song. The B side is the song that really kicks my ass though.. I’m History starts real slow with just drums and a slow stoned, spacey vibe with laid back vocals, but then……explodes but comes back down with some nice strings but then an amazing ending with a great almost doom rock riff that crushes while we bang our heads. Killer stuff.
