This is the bands fifth record from what I can see. They have Jeff Scott Soto guesting on backing vocals on the record. I have not heard any of the bands previous records and I have to say this is not the style of music I really like but damn, these guys are great players. Some amazing guitar solos, great singing and powerful bass and drumming but in the end the music is just too much formula commercial rock meets progressive rock. They have these big bombastic grandiose synth pads, commercial rock vocals, power chord guitars, etc… They write great songs as well but I just don’t find it to my tastes but if you are a fan of this commercial 80’s style power rock, then for this is for you!
