Gösta Berlings Saga - Detta har Hänt
(Transubstans 047)

From Aural Innovations October 2009 update

This Stockholm Sweden based instrumental progressive rock band is back with their second record and it is equal to and different from the first one. Kontrast is a short 4 minute track to start things off. One thing you will notice is this record is a bit more intense and guitar oriented and there are many what I will call King Crimson moments. Sorterargatan 3 starts slowly with a dark guitar, which is setting the mood before the piano enters and the song comes to life in this complex track. Svenska Hjärtan is a short dark track with a psychedelic mix with this almost subliminal loop going on under the piano. Cool. Fem Trappor starts with some synths and effects before this mutates into an uptempo and complex track with some amazing drumming. Nattskift starts with piano and then some intense repeated lead guitar lines come in as the track floats and cruises. This reminds me a bit of some middle sections of Bland Bladen tracks. Västerbroen 05:30 features a totally amazing guitar solo and is really some sort of progressive psychedelic masterwork to end this damn cool CD.
