This is the third release by the Swedish band, Ocean Chief, despite the title, when translated to English, being The First. Anyway, it is 3 tracks in 37 minutes. As always with Electric Earth the limited edition vinyl comes with a great A2 poster and high quality sleeve and vinyl. The CD starts off with the title track and this is very traditional doom and not that spacey. Tomrum is 8 minutes and features some pretty brutal singing and a very spaced out ending. Sang, the B-side of the LP, is the best track with a cool spacey vibe and a nice synthesizer drone section in the middle as well. The vocals are a bit more laid back at times as well. A pretty damn cool release if you are into slow spacey doom. No guitar solos here, just pure riffing with a spacey feel.
