Black Lizard and …. Are from Helsinki Finland and play 60’s inspired psychedelic hippie rock. This demo CD features 6 tracks. The opening track, Shine High, starts with a sitar drone by Jaire of Octopus Syng. This is a really great 60s rock song that just is so catchy and groovy…. Distorted Dream is really like 1967 Pink Floyd. Morning Bliss is a short acoustic track with organ, guitar and spacey vocals. Adore Me is also an acoustic guitar track but with some snotty like vocals and the sitar also returns to give it a freaky vibe. Finally, the bass kicks in but the drums remain minimal. Her Velvet Meadows is another acoustic hippie track with sitar, hand drums,etc… The demo ends with In Love. Fans of the Danish band Lotus Krokus will enjoy this group.
