Dark Budda Rising is a new psychedelic DOOM band from Finland and one of the coolest bands that I discovered in 2009. I also have their first double LP called Ritual IX, which features one LP with two totally amazing DOOM, psych, Kraut rock tracks and the second LP of strange drone dark drone music. Anyway, this is also a double vinyl made in 500 copies with cool artwork and thick vinyl. Again, the band takes you out on album side dark psychedelic trips unlike any other band that I can think of. They are for sure influenced by the Finnish band, Circle but throw in some of the slower DOOM sounds. What can I say... Amazing stuff and only released on vinyl. You can hear some of the bands stuff on Last.fm but they don’t even have a myspace page or real web site. Total underground but worth digging up if you like bands that make album long side mind journeys…
