This is a release that totally caught me off guard! The six piece band (not really an orchestra) is back with their second release. The only other band that I have heard in this rock-swing genre is the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies. These guys have some similarities of course but the guitar is more of a heavy metal sound. They have male and female vocals, piano, guitar, bass, and of course horns! I can see how this is a very special genre of music but every now and then if you throw this on it will rock your world. Heavy metal riffs meets pure swing… cool…
