Zone Six - Live at Böllerbauer 2009
(Sulatron cdr 007)

From Aural Innovations April 2010 update

This is the latest live CD-R release by the all improve German psychedelic rock group Zone Six. It is 2 long tracks and 52 minutes long. The opening jam, The return of Cold, is a really amazing jam and reminds me of my own band, Øresund Space Collective a lot. The next jam, Pudding from Mars, is heavier and the band in the middle of the piece go into total Acid Mothers Temple style meltdown and the recording distorts a bit but not too badly. The band make a safe landing afterwards and the piece slowly glides down to a mellow section around 20 minutes before the band take another path. Pretty cool stuff, especially the first jam is very cool and inspired.
