Syron are a new young Swedish five piece who were formed out of the ashes of Pangolin. It features Anna and Jonas from that band (they also previously played in Evil Keneval) and have a performed as a duo on the Copyright Infringment Beak Bevis Frond Tribute CD. Anna's organ give the band a very 60's sounding feel but some of the guitars are a bit heavier. The three tracks are quite moody pieces and the female lead vocalist, Veronica, has a special, almost drugged style of singing. It takes some getting used to but there are some cool psychedelic numbers here. The band needs some more time to develop but I look forward to hearing more by this young group.
