Like Audio Explorations, Machine Love is a duo. Vincent James does all the bass, electronics, grooves and melodies, while Tad Ro plays all the guitars. The Now Explosion is a mixture of ambient space music with drums and has those dreamy sweeping synths and some guitar that can really take off into a funky groove. Most of the tracks on this CD are in the 3-4 minute range (9 of 12). Space Travel Pak has some longer more floating tracks with less intensive drums but again some cool grooves and funky stuff. A little jazzy at times and a few tracks have female singing as well. A lot of variety. Most of their music is very pleasant and the type I would put on late in the evening after dinner and some drinks while chilling with friends.
