Helmut of Gnats - s/t

This is the first SACD (Super Audio) that I own and wow... the sound is indeed fucking amazing when you play this in your DVD player through the 5.1. Helmet of Gnats are a 4 piece all instrumental progressive rock act. Some of the stuff is quite jazzy. I would never consider it ambient. All the musicians play very competently. This was great to hear but I never felt like the band was taking any risks. It was all a bit too smooth. It was an amazing aural experience though.
