Bible of the Devil - "Brutality Majesty Eternity"
(Scarey Records SCR028)

From Aural Innovations #32 (November 2005)

Bible of the Devil hails from Chicago and is a 4 piece band that love the NWOBHM and that is a good thing. The band has made a steady stream of releases since 2002, with this being the bands fourth. The band breaks up the CD with a series of short 1 minute tracks (the names of the title of the CD), like the opener, which then leads into "Guns, Germs and Steel", a melodic metal offering with some nice dual lead guitars. "The Majesty" is one of the one minute tracks and very much like a Thin Lizzy guitar break before the band comes back heavy with "Flee". A few of the songs begin to sound a bit the same as you get through the CD but they have some damn cool riffs and good melodies and rock hard. Check it out! The band would be improved 100 fold with a vocalist that could really sing as they have some great tunes here but the vocal is so raw and takes away more than it adds. Just my opinion and... well it was Lars who asked me. But who cares...
