The great Norwegian psychedelic and space rock band WE have hooked up with their friends, Ralph Myerz to produce a 4 song EP. The whole of each group contributes to the first two songs and then each band has an extra rare track. The CD begins with the great foot stomping psyched out rocker called "Sky is the Limit" and features a cool riff and some great drums and cool playing. Pretty psyched out as well. The next track is "DeepRed" and this is mainly a Ralph Myerz track but you can hear the influence of WE as well. It is a strange sort of psychedelic dance track. Next Ralph Myerz gives us the track, "My Private Night", which only appeared on the European but not the Norwegian release of their record Your New Best Friends. It is a very laid back lounge music track and reminds me of what you would hear in a cheesy 70's porn flick or James Bond movie. Finally, WE end the CD with the amazing "7AM" track from the Smugglers session and this is a very spacey track featuring Chris Goss and Don playing a killer guitar solo (he was burning up with a 40C fever at the time!). Cool stuff.
