Wolfmother hail from Sydney, Australia and have played shows in the US and Europe to support their debut CD, which even got reviewed in Rolling Stone! Anyway, this CD appears to be a sort of promo to showcase what the band are about to unleash on the world. It features 4 tracks of ass kickin' rock and roll, ala Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin, etc... you know, down to earth rock rooted in the early 70's. The singer sometimes reminds me of Robert Plant but not all the time. The CD also features two cool videos filmed out in the California desert. Great stuff. I hope they tour Europe on the next record. The band has just been announced for the Roskilde Festival, so that is great news!
