Cherry Overdrive have been playing on the Danish underground for a few years now and this is their second single, which is to preceed their full length record on Heptown Records (out in January). You get a taster of two of the tracks on this cool blue vinyl 7" single. If you don't know them, they are an all female 60's inspired garage rock band who really ROCK. No fucking around... "Hey, Reptiles, they're living inside your balls". Yeah... it's rock and roll. Quite a strange and cool 2½ minute track. High paced rock and roll. The b-side, Hey Sugar, has a sort of twangy 60's guitar hook and some really nice vocals. I also like the down and dirty guitar riff that comes at the beginning and in between the singing parts. Catchy. Can't wait to hear the full CD!
