Daryl is famous for playing with Jean Luc Ponty, Genesis and with Phil Collins.
This CD lets him show off his hard rocking side. A lot of the pop and easy listening
synth stuff is still mixed in their with this very fusion style of playing on
a lot of the tracks. On three of the tracks he actually plays all the instruments
(synth, drums, bass and guitar). While I like a lot of his lead guitar playing
I don’t find the compositions all the interesting and a bit too polished
and the pop music influences are just all too present. Think of the pop bands
he has played in but with a more hard rocking and ripping guitar and this is
what you will get…
