Love Motor is from San Diego, CA and play hard driving melodic rock and roll
with a female voice. The opening track begins with a QOTSA like riff but develops
into a quite hard driving song. Christy, the singer, reminds me of some of the
female metal singers from the 80’s. She is also quite a good singer and
gives the music a more melodic and indie edge to it. There are a few really
ass kicking songs on the 8 track CD, like Delay. My main complaint is the CD
just speeds right past you and you don’t really recall anything that memorable
about the music??? Not bad but not that great.. high energy rock and roll with
a stoner edge..
