Twinkranes is an Irish psychedelic music group. This promo CD features 2 songs in 8 minutes. The songs were recorded in December 2006, so it is a little curious they are just now sending this stuff out to the media. Anyway, the CD starts with Being Kong, an uptempo and pretty cool and psychedelic driving track and reminds me of Kraut rock mixed with UK psych pop. Witchhunt is next and begins with some really cool synthesizers and a very spacey feeling. A bit like a rock version of Chemical Brothers but with some vocals you might expect on some German kraut rock records. Spaced... I hope these guys make a full length record. Pretty cool stuff but don't expect to get much out of their Myspace page. It is a wreck. Good video links but otherwise.. .a loss.
