Peninsolar starts off the disc well enough, the flute and didge creating a pleasantly mellow atmosphere... but from then on the album mostly fails even as a decent "mood disc", being merely well-played, squeaky-clean, super-tight... let's call it "ethno-dub-fusion"... at times like a less space-rock version of the Ozrix at their blandest. Okay, Rotterdub might be an above-average dub tune because of the tablas. And this might be Chuck at his tersest!
