Radio Show #198: Mooch/Steve Palmer Special (March 23, 2008)

Since the early 1990s Steve Palmer has led Mooch through several albums on the Taste and Dead Earnest labels, and now Ambientlive. Last year's Dr Silbury's Liquid Brainstem Band album was a stylistic departure for Mooch, and an exciting one at that. But the new album - 1967 1/2 - is even more so. There has been a flurry of activity surrounding Steve's music this past year - new albums, reissues of older albums, his four albums recorded as Blue Lily Commission have been reissued as digital downloads, and more is in the works.

This show is dedicated to Steve's music and features chats with Steve between tracks, and includes commentary from John Sherwood of the Ambientlive label and Chris Gill, who contributed vocals to the Dr Silbury and 1967 1/2 albums.
