Body Full Of Stars - "Falling Angles"
Recent release from the Stone Premonitions label. Three of the personnel of The Rabbit's Hat, Terri B, Martin Holder and Tim Jones collaborate with Mark Dunn, who is mainly responsible for words and music and above all insane drumming. The result is similar to The Rabbit's Hat's "Take Good Care" (SPCD 001) but with more input from the sensational electric guitar of ex-Jah Wobble Martin Holder, and a preponderance of Amazonian tribal rhythms. The feel of savage spontaneity is there all through the recording (once again-incredible!):"Rainbow Water-Snake Demon", "Jump Up!"(for the Mayan people of Guatemala),"Spirit House Dance"...The whole CD expresses a really amazing kind of tribal-rock hypnotic trance.Mix 70s Santana with Osibisa and add David Gilmour-style guitar...I believe Body Full Of Stars have found new and evolutionary ways into the special here-and-now of eclectic head music. Have I been influenced by seeing the film The Relic?
