Census of Hallucinations - "The 8th Dwarf"

No prizes for guessing that this is the eighth album by Census Of Hallucinations which makes them one of the most prolific outfits around as they only released their first album in 2000. Census are built around the twin talents of Terri~B (vocals) and Tim Jones (guitar/vocals) with Dave Pipkin (drums), Dave Mclean (bass) and Paddi (guitar/bass/drums) filling out the rest of the band. The album features a mammoth 18-tracks and giving the band ample time to explore the many many diverse subjects they delight in. They still like to stir things up so you get the weird and bizarre like The Eighth Dwarf, Goblindegook and numerous other crazy moments sitting alongside the serious ones like Weapons Of Mass Deception and War Is Not The Way. Once again, the vocals of Terri~B and Tim work well together making for a truly unique sound and Tim is an outstanding guitarist. He seems to believe in the less is more philosophy but he can belt it out when the mood takes him. Check out the hidden track at the end of the CD for a truly humorous view on his playing!
