Thank you very much for the goodies and the best wishes contained within the cd's you sent me. Over the past few months I have obtained all of the Census of Hallucinations, all of the Krom Lek and a few of the other bands on your label and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
I am in my late forties now and spent a lot of my early life involved in psychedelic and space rock music. I roadied for Hawkwind in 74,75 and spent a lot of time listening to and watching live bands such as Gong, Steve Hillage, Pink Faeries, Tangerine Dream etc. I especially enjoyed what could be loosley termed festival music at Stonehenge, Deeply Vale etc. Your music conjures up a lot of the vibes that that music gave me then also with a modern edge and a sense of humour.
I have also spent a lot of time in the last 20 years learning to play the guitar, programming synthesizers ( analogue ) and drum machines and trying to create my own take on space/psychedelic music which I have recorded on everything from the humble 4-track portostudio to the latest computer sequencers allthough being unable to find many musicians who share my love for this type of music as a one man band inspiration is sometimes hard to find.
As I also originate from the North East, a town called Northallerton, it is nice to know that you come from a similar background. May I take this opportunity to wish all the members on the Stone Premonitions label a Happy Christmas and a pyschedelic New Year
